Green Bridge into the Future – Sustainable Communities in the V4 Countries

Green Journey Arrival & Welcome on the arrival of participants at school. Students were introduced to the project, were shown the premises and then they came ice-breaking games. We had school presentations including eco-initiatives in the forms of PPTs and videos. We had a special rally to discover the village and its eco-practices and created a “Green Code” promoting sustainable behaviour during the stay. The next day were the creative Eco Projects in international groups; students developed eco-posters, campaigns, and made short videos using recycled materials. Upcycling workshops fostered creativity and environmental awareness. The next day students attended the Nature Exploration Educational hike in the Góry Sowie with plant identification, waste sorting, and mini eco-challenges and building green bridges of natural resources like fallen sticks, branches, leaves. On the 4th day students organized an Eco-Fashion Show, presented their eco-projects to locals and families, raising awareness about sustainability. We had reflection on teamwork, creativity, and community impact. Finally, we had Green Journey Departure with final reflections on eco-travel and sustainable habits and certificates. Students departed with more self-confidence, increased environmental awareness and intercultural experience, improved language, social and cultural skills and new friendships.
